After months of research and sifting through proposed content, all boosted by a recent social media campaign, we’re now ready! Our thanks go to everyone who helped get us this far! – especially those who donated photographs and helped identify those appearing in them. 👏👏

“Blessing of the Fair” is a chronological list of photographs and background information showcasing this integral part of our famous Rowell Fair.

From our earliest photograph (so far!) taken in 1935, right up to our most recent Fair, see how many people you recognise – you may see someone you know – as well as learn even more about ‘The Blessing’.

We want this page to always be ‘work in progress’ and hope to keep it regularly updated
