The Society was saddened to learn of the passing of Brenda Austin on 16 June 2026. Brenda was a staunch Rowellian and a loyal long-term member of the Rowell Fair Society. In past years, a regular winner of the annual Curd Tart Competition, she was appointed Head Judge and last conducted the role in this year’s Competition. The Society will miss Brenda and sends its deepest sympathy and condolences to Norman and the family.
