As many of you know, each year, as part of the Rowell Fair, we partner with Rothwell Arts & Heritage Centre to organise and run the annual Rowell Fair Tart Competition.

The competition has been run for quite a few years now and follows a single ‘tried and tested’ recipe that celebrates the heritage of Rowell (aka ‘Rothwell, Northamptonshire) and its many family traditions.

You’ve been in touch and told us that a few variations of that long-ago recipe have been created and they’re equally delicious! 😋😋
