But, if you’ve just moved into Town and you missed it, we’re sorry! Rothwell has been celebrating ‘Proclamation Monday’ since 1204 – and we’re just as loud and proud of our famous Fair and Proclamation in 2026 as we were back when King John first gave us our Charter in 1204!
